History Group
Menter Mechell History Group is a by-product of Menter Mechell which has grown from strength to strength since its creation by a small group of enthusiastic individuals. Regular meetings have given people an insight into many aspects of the history and heritage of Llanfechell and the surrounding areas.
The Group has also introduced new skills to the volunteers who research and present the topic at the meetings. This is a huge achievement for the individuals concerned.
The successful archaeological dig which uncovered many interesting and ancient artefacts and details of other local historical interest can be found on the Menter Mechell History Society website.
